Retiring with Confidence and Understanding Division 296

Retiring with Confidence and Understanding Division 296 – Seminar (or join via live webinar)

Join local financial advisers Rob Goudie and Amy Lehmann for a practical, plain-English presentation designed to help you approach retirement with greater clarity and confidence.

We will explore the key financial decisions people should consider during the five years leading into retirement, from working out how much is enough and creating a reliable retirement income, to managing investments, cash reserves, superannuation pensions and tax.

The presentation will also explain the new Division 296 superannuation tax, which commenced on 1 July 2026. For the 2026–27 financial year, Division 296 can apply where an individual’s total superannuation balance exceeds $3 million, with separate rules applying to balances above $10 million. (Australian Taxation Office)

This is an educational evening for anyone who wants to understand the rules, identify the decisions ahead and begin planning before retirement arrives.

Can’t attend in person? An online webinar is also available. Register for Retiring with Confidence and Understanding Division 296.
